Title: RCom Struggling to Stay Afloat
Post by: wiredlife on August 17, 2015, 10:27:27 AM
RCOM reported another weak quarter with flat revenues yoy. EBITDA was up a meager 0.6% yoy while EBIT declined 3.2%. The company continues to underperform peers on operations/financials despite the improving sector fundamentals.

There was nothing much to cheer for from an operational performance perspective as well apart from the data volume growth trajectory. Both ARPU and minutes were down sequentially, ARPU was down to `140 from `147, while minutes stood at 105 bn down from 108.1 bn in the previous quarter. RCOM added 1.7 mn data subs including 0.5 mn 3G subs in the current quarter. RPM improved slightly to 44.5 paise, primarily driven by growth in data revenues.
