Title: Airtel Broadband Frequent Disconnection
Post by: wiredlife on June 16, 2015, 09:40:56 AM
Airtel DSL Broadband sometimes goes into a state of Frequent Disconnection. Despite troubleshooting the Physical line, the problem lied in the modem configuration.

Under the DNS Server Configuration - Do Not Opt for "Enable Automatic Assigned DNS". Rather, specify the Primary & Secondary DNS IP address. It has been working fine so far so good.

You can later do the Airtel DSL Speedtest (http://airtel.dslindia.com/speedtest/) here.

Again after 12 Months, I was facing Similar Issue. Airtel broadband disconnected 48 times in a period of 24 hours. Line parameters were all good. So what was the solution ?

Beetel Modem was Hard Reset. Use the Pin and Press and Hold the Point to Reset Modem. Put username & password again in the Modem configuration and it is working, so far so good.
