Jio is developing an integrated digital payment ecosystem with its foray into payment bank, prepaid wallet (Jio Money) and the latest Jio Money Merchant App. We believe RJIO will leverage its mobile data subscriber base and rich network of partners, agents, kiosks and
technological solutions to offer its consumers flexibility and convenience. The company plans to operate Aadhaar-based micro ATM to support various transactions, such as, deposits, withdrawals, funds transfers, balance inquiry and mini-statements, etc.
Jio has launched Jio Money Merchant Application, a digital payment ecosystem, starting December 5. This will enable digital transactions of all types, at mandis, small shops, restaurants, railway ticket counters, for buses and mass transit and even for person-toperson money transfers. We believe successful execution (leading to a 10mn strong merchant base for its digital payment ecosystem) will create a pull factor for its payment solution platform and further enhance attractiveness of its full gamut of services.
