Total data traffic was up ~14% qoq to 87.2bn MB while average revenue per MB declined by ~9% qoq to 13.9p/ MB.
Total data traffic of 86.6 billion MB on Bharti's network is almost equal to RCom's data traffic of 87.2 billion MB. Even assuming that all non-voice revenues are from data, it suggests that RCom's realized rates (on data) are at significant discount to the other large players. We expect data consumption growth to continue, but we remain concerned on data pricing as we expect continued moderation in effective data pricing due to RCom?s relatively aggressive stance in data market.
