Tata Tele Voice Suffers
« on: July 31, 2015, 07:25:18 AM »
Tata Tele Maharashtra management indicated continued signs of irrational behavior from some of their competitors, which is affecting both the company?s voice volume trajectory and realizations. The company also said that they do not expect this irrational competition to sustain for an extended period.

The company said that the growth trajectory for data operations remains steady and should continue in the near future. They also guided for about a 20% EBITDA margin in the short term, and expect it to increase to 30% in the longer term.

The company indicated that they are actively weeding out unprofitable/low-profitability projects from their ATMs business. They, therefore, decided not to pursue some of these contracts that were up for renewal in the past quarter, which led to the large decline in the number of managed ATMs. From here onwards, the company expects to add about 300-400 ATMs per month, mainly Indicash.
