JD Omni is a mini-ERP solution for the merchants with features such as inventory control, supply management, billing and CRM. It comes with a pre-loaded catalogue (that is prepared by Just Dial) that can be easily customised by the merchants. It will be a cloud
based product with a monthly subscription (Rs.20,000 initial payment and Rs 2,000 per month) as well as upfront payment model (currently, one-time payment of Rs 65,000). The company is focusing on customising the product for each vertical segment - this is still in progress.
Just Dial is pricing the product competitively to make it compelling for the merchants. Besides being an ERP system for the entity, it will also facilitate them in getting online. Indeed, using JD Omni, the merchants can create their own apps and share it with their customers. Besides providing the subscription revenue, getting sellers on JD Omni will help Just Dial in having a better (real-time) control over the inventory and pricing of the products.
