Reliance Jio Trial by Consumer
« on: May 16, 2016, 11:05:38 AM »
A reader of our Publication Sent us his Experience about Reliance Jio 4G LTE Trial from a SIM he obtained through a Reliance employee Referral.

Convenience of a unified login across apps (wallet, media, news etc) gives Jio an edge as it caters to multiple requirements of consumers.
Download speeds during testing ranged from ~33 Mbps to ~49 Mbps. Our trials for downloads and video/ music streaming were very satisfactory with content loading instantly and streaming without buffering, even in HD (majority of content is in HD)
Calls from Jio to other networks went through seamlessly with good sound quality
Jio Money is reported to have tied up with 50,000 online merchants (Sources: Media) for the wallet services. It will look to further expand its reach. Peer-to-peer money transfer will also allow Jio to enhance usage and drive consumer stickiness
Ecosystem in place to increase share of subscriber wallet: Jio Money digital wallet tied in with a bouquet of services including music (Jio Beats), movies/ TV (Jio On Demand and Jio Play) and news (Jio Mags and Jio Xpress News) will allow Jio to tap multiple avenues of data usage on its own platform

Looks like he has not tested the Reliance Jio Network in Rural Areas or Outskirts of the City.
