According to a statement by Airtel on Point of Interconnect squabble with
Reliance Jio, the latter
has reached a subscriber base of 25 Million. It said,
This is well ahead of the timeframe, since there are currently only 25 million customers making calls to the Airtel network from Jio. As a matter of fact the number of PoIs provided by Airtel to Jio is more than 2.5 times the number provided to an existing operator with a comparable subscriber base.
Airtel is now providing 17,000 POI to Reliance Jio. Not sure if every Telco has to give separate POI to others. Appears to be flawed and it should just be like HTTP port 80 anybody could use the protocol and connect, IMHO.
