As a part of this launch, Airtel is offering 4G at 3G data prices and the smallest denomination pack starts at Rs25. Also, the company has introduced high-end ?infinity plans? that offer unlimited mobile voice services along with data benefits and access to Wynk Music/ Wynk Movies apps.
With every 4G SIM swap, Airtel is offering six months of unlimited music streaming and downloads on ?Wynk Music? and five free movies per month for six months on the Eros Now channel of Wynk Movies. To improve customer experience, Airtel is offering instant SIM swap, home delivery within four hours and a platform (Flexpage) to track data usage.
Airtel has tied up with Flipkart wherein 4G mobile handsets from Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola, Lenovo, Asus and Huawei would be bundled with Airtel 4G SIMs and 4G data benefits. In addition, an alliance with Samsung would help educate customers on Airtel 4G and swap SIMs in Samsung stores. Samsung would also offer data benefits on a few devices.
The commercial launch of 4G-LTE services ahead of peers ratifies our stance that Airtel is best placed to reap benefits of the rapid maturity in 3G/ 4G device ecosystem. Rich spectrum asset (3G in 20 of 22 circles across India and 4G-LTE in 14 circles), quality subscriber base, and distribution network would help Airtel maintain industry leading data growth.
