Sources from Bharti Infratel are indicating that Reliance Jio Infocomm will launch in Dec 2016 post integration of the 850MHz as this would enable Jio to have a better quality network. Given that Jio is likely to compete on quality rather than on price, it will put pressure on
telcos to invest in improving their data networks, leading to new towers being added and an increase in tenancy on existing towers.
Bharti Infratel is the biggest beneficiary of data demand, as telco operators will likely spend more on their 3G/4G data network to compete
with R-Jio.
