JustDial halted further sales of Omni in 2QFY17 to rectify some software issues in the product. Omni sales are expected to commence shortly, though JUST will not be able to meet its earlier guidance of 25,000 Omni merchants by the end of FY2017. Omni software has been tweaked to make customer on boarding easier. Further, JUST will now offer Omni with a two month trial period to new customers, subsequent to which it will charge a monthly fee. The upfront fee model will be largely phased out.
Just Dial's employee base remained stagnant qoq, though the company has maintained its guidance of addition of ~2000-2500 employees in FY2017. The ad film is ready, but JUST will air it in a measured way; the Rs 1 bn of advertising budget indicated earlier would be spent only if initial response to promotions is positive.
