Hostgator Kills Shell Job after 60 Minutes
« on: May 27, 2015, 10:15:03 PM »
On a Hostgator Web Hosting Shell Account, if you schedule any Job (like getting ventura Business Articles, using Perl) the Job was Killed by Hostgator monitoring script exactly after 60 minutes.

So the best way to do is getting it done on your local machine. But however, if it uses too much of Read / Write Cycles for hard disk, I'd not do so on my Laptop due to the nature of laptop Hard drives which die fast and would love to schedule it on servers.

Then Process the Raw files to XML which could be imported into DB or re-written to "NoSQL Datastore" Indexes.
