« on: March 04, 2017, 10:26:17 PM »
Reliance Jio Infocomm said that there was congestion on ~8% of the cell sites, which has been reduced to ~5% by deploying additional spectrum and creating small cells. It will be further expanding its small cells and WiFi offloading solutions to decongest the sites and improve quality of network.

Jio is also increasing population coverage from 75% to 95% by CY17. On voice network, the company carries 2bn minutes per day, equivalent to large incumbent operators and has capacity to carry 100% of India?s voice. However, it has blamed POI issues by incumbent operators for connectivity issues.
