UBS Evidence Lab key conclusions from the survey are: 1) overall, subscribers appeared satisfied, with >95% of respondents stating that the value of service is excellent/good and 9 out of 10 willing to recommend their service provider; 2) Idea had the strongest brand satisfaction, followed by Airtel and Vodafone, while RCom fared poorly. This explains the largest revenue market share (RMS) gains for Idea (from 15.8% to 18.4%) over the last eight quarters. RCOM lost 178bp in market share on average during the same period; and 3)
the market leaders (Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea) are becoming stronger in India and the survey results suggest that this trend will likely continue.
