On the Just Dial Search Plus platform, 30 services are currently live. There is little challenge in fulfillment of virtual services (air/rail ticket booking) and the key remains delivery of physical goods. Some segments (like grocery) already have their own ecosystem for last-mile delivery. It plans to tie up with third-party logistic players for the other segments.
The TV commercial has been shot and is likely to be launched sometime in Sep. Focus will be to educate consumers on convenience and the fact that now transactions can also occur over the platform. JUST's unique visitor growth has been lackluster, which the company
attributes to traffic shifting to players that offer transaction services. It believes that commercial launch of search plus should lead to an uptick in unique visitor growth.
Top-line growth has slowed in the last 3-4 qtrs primarily due to lack of investment in the sales force. The company has now been strengthening it ? to 7,500 from 6,500 in the last six months and plans to raise it by another 1,000 by the end of FY17E. The benefit of this in terms of accelerating top-line growth will be visible in FY18E.
