FTTH Broadband / Jio Fiber - Router Login

After Switching Off the Jio Fiber Router for 12 Hours, it fails to connect even though we have a Stable Green Light on the Modem.

Suggest Solution is to Change WiFi SSD by JioFTTH Call Center but that never worked. So what I did is logged on to http://192.168.29.1/

Username: admin
Password: Jiocentrum

It will ask to change the password for the Router, I change the password and bingo the Internet Starts Working.

I think something needs to be written to the firmware. Not sure what their Architecture is.

FTTH Broadband / Jio Fiber - Karnataka Government Sites Not Opening

I had a unique problem that some websites not opening such as the Karnataka Government Websites.

E-mailed their support jioFibercare@jio.com - No Response even after 15 days.
Next E-mailed to appellate.kar@jio.com - No Response even after 30 days. Terrible Service.

After patiently waiting on calling their call center, finally, reached JioFiber customer care. And Suggested Solution was Switch Off the Router for 8 Hours. CC executive doesn't know why, but Jio does something in the backend and it works.

Windows Permissions
Scroll Down on Left hand side "App Permissions"

Turn each and everything OFF


2. Command Promp - Right Click Run as Administrator
net stop "windows search"

When powered on my new Acer Desktop, I had an EFI Shell. Had Windows 10 on a USB Stick.

1. Plugged in the Windows 10 USB into the USB Slot.
2. Rebooted the Computer
3. fs1 was the USB Drive
4. fs1: <Press Enter>
5. Setup.exe etc will not work
6. Had to change path with "cd" and use "dir"
7. Choose appropriate CPU architecture X64 here
8. SETUP.EFI will execute and start the installation process.

For Installing OpenAI on ActiveState Perl

1. Installed cpanminus from within ppm
2. then ran the command cpanm https://cpan.metacpan.org/authors/id/N/NF/NFERRAZ/OpenAI-API-0.07.tar.gz
3. it failed -  ! Installing the dependencies failed: Installed version (6.15) of LWP::UserAgent is not in range '6.47'

4. Then I did cpanm LWP even it failed because Net::HTTP is not in range '6.18'

5. Then I did cpanm Net:HTTP --force so that I get the latest version

6. The I tried cpanm https://cpan.metacpan.org/authors/id/N/NF/NFERRAZ/OpenAI-API-0.07.tar.gz - Installed successfully

5G / Wi-Fi / Jio FTTH Router Auto Update of Firmware

Sometimes, Jio does Firmware Update on the FTTH Router resulting in WiFi connections not working. What the update does is changes the SSID and hence the problem.

How to Change SSID of Jio FTTH Wifi Router ?
On your mobile, turn on "Mobile Data Internet".
From your MyJio App, Access the Settings and Change the SSID as well as Password.
Since, your FTTH is ied to the App, any changes in the MyJio App will get reflected to Jio Servers in Mumbai which in almost real time pushes to the FTTH Device (Router).

Now after 5 Minutes, when you turn on "WiFi" on your Laptop / Mobile, you should be able to see the new SSID. Choose to connect, enter the Password and you are all up and running.

Update the new Password in your WiFi Printer as well.

The following have to be adhered.

1. Verify Domain  + Change MX Records to Zoho
2. Go Back to Google Workspace - Change the Cloud Settings as given in their settings (Basically Permissions)
3. For Each Individual Inbox,
Enable IMAP +  Enable Access to Less Secure Apps
4. Crate User at Zoho
5. Create Migration, then Add User Created in Step 4 to the Migration then "Start Migration"


For a MailBox with Lot of Sent + Incoming e-mails + Mails in Various Labels - Migration is terribly slow. 1 Hour / 1 GB.

Capex remains elevated except for Vi that continues to grapple with a stretched balance sheet.

The near-term headwinds are: 1) a slowdown in smartphone uptake due to chip shortage and rising prices; and 2) higher diesel costs
(every 10% increase in diesel cost results in a 25-40bps mobile Ebitda margin hit). Another round of tariff hikes later this year could happen, providing a fillip.
