State Owned, Loss Making Telco serving the metros of Mumbai and Delhi has launched Triband – VDSL Broadband with download speed reaching 10 Mbps and upload speed capped at 5 Mbps. However, Triband VDSL is available for customers who are in the 2 Km vicinity of the Exchange or the DSLAM Equipment. As the Customers move further away from the DSLAM equipment, speed deterioration starts unless the ISP comes to the rescue with further boosters.
MTNL Mumbai Triband VDSL Plans with Fair Usage Policy are as follows
- VDSL Power 990 Upto 10 Mbps/5 Mbps till 25 GB and 512 Kbps/512 Kbps afterwards
- VDSL Power 1290 Upto 10 Mbps/5 Mbps till 45 GB and 512 Kbps/512 Kbps afterwards
- VDSL Power 1690 Upto 10 Mbps/5 Mbps till 75 GB and 512 Kbps/512 Kbps afterwards
- VDSL Power 2290 Upto 10 Mbps/5 Mbps till 150 GB and 512 Kbps/512 Kbps afterwards
The above plans are cheaper than those offered by Airtel VDSL Broadband in select cities.
