How to Access Reliance Jio Wi-Fi Broadband for FREE ?

A Consumer once registered can browse on Jio WiFi from any city pan India. However an important point to note here is that as per the Government mandate, a user can use free WiFi for a maximum of 72 hours. Post that, he needs to do OTP verification once again to continue enjoy browsing at high speeds. During 72 hours, user can access the Jio Wi-Fi across all locations in all cities.

Customers can now connect their existing devices to Jio WiFi and enjoy high speeds of up to 100mbps to its users. With such a blazing speed, the customers can stream or download music, movies etc. in a just a jiffy! On a Trial basis, Reliance Jio Wi-Fi is available for FREE access in Gujarat, Navi Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh.

Jio WiFi can be accessed through any WiFi enabled device like smartphones, tablets, laptops etc. The service is OS agnostic too. It works on several operating systems like Android and iOS. A user can access these multiple devices through a single user id and password. (PS: WiFi can be accessed from any 1 device at a particular time. Multiple devices can’t be accessed at parallel times. They can only be accessed at different times)

  • Ease of Connection: Enter into a Jio WiFi enabled zone and connect to Jionet in just a few steps as mentioned below.

    1. Enable WiFi on your device and scan for all the available WiFi networks.
    2. Select the Jio WiFi network (“Jionet”).
    3. You will be directed to the WiFi portal (URL – wifi.jio.com).
    4. Existing users need to sign in with their credentials and can start browsing.
    5. New users need to click on “Register Me” and register with few basic details –
       1. Name (First Name & Last Name)
       2. Mobile Number
       3. Email ID
       4. Create a new User ID
    6. Once user submits the required input, he is redirected to the OTP verification. He receives an OTP on his registered mobile number which he needs to enter into the OTP verification page. Then he needs to create a password for his user account on the same page and click on “Activate”.
    7. Upon successful registration, he can start browsing.
