A reader of our Blog has sent in this review along with a screenshot of the Speedtest Result using OOKLA App he performed at the Wankhede Stadium using Reliance Jio Mobile Broadband. The results were quite impressive, clocking speeds of 51Mbps download and 36Mbps upload. It took just half a minute to download a 60 MB video, which typically takes ~4 minutes on 2 Mbps broadband connection.
Reliance Jio has acquired Big portfolio of spectrum in 800Mhz, 1800Mhz & 2300Mhz spectrum to deliver High Speed Mobile Broadband to consumers with clear focus on 4G Technology. RJio is rolling out FTTH network across Indian cities to provide high-speed Internet. It will distinguish itself from A-Vo-Id Telecom Lobby, with High speed being the key service offering via 4G, making it superior to 2G and 3G networks. In India, the average 2G speed for a user is ~300 to 500 Kbps, while 3G speed is ~1 to 2 Mbps. 4G LTE promises speeds close to 50 Mbps.
